Khabib Nurmagomedov sends message to Conor McGregor: ‘There will no longer be locked buses’

The beef between undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and combat superstar Conor McGregor is real.

Even before McGregor roughed up a Brooklyn bus this past April in order to get to Khabib, the two fighters had been a massive collision course. The past two months have simply accelerated their feud.

As McGregor battles through his legal issues stemming from UFC 223, Khabib continues to add fuel to the fire. In his most recent social media post (shown below), “Eagle” calls “Notorious” out for not being a grown man.

“When you see him, tell him: Conor the game has changed, now you have to play like a grown up man, there will no longer be locked buses with security inside and outside, now you have to solve these problems alone, and if you do not want it, just say so, everybody will understand,” wrote Khabib.

Remember, Nurmagomedov defeat Al Iaquinta at UFC 223 to claim the 155-pound title that McGregor vacated due to inactivity. The Russian also improved his professional record to an astounding 26-0.

While rumors have swirled that a Khabib vs. McGregor showdown is in the works for the end of the year, fight fans really don’t know what to expect. Both fighters seemingly want to fight, especially when reading social media posts like this one, but it may not be up to them.

If McGregor can escape long-term punishment for his unprecedented bus attack then it’s possible we get this superfight in 2018. If the Irishman ends up biting the bullet then these social media tirades are the only thing we have to look forward to.
