Video: Ray Borg announces baby boy is finally coming home

The mixed martial arts (MMA) world got good news earlier today (Fri., May 25, 2018) when flyweight contender Ray Borg announced that his baby boy is finally coming home.

Remember, Borg’s son, Anthony, underwent two brain surgeries last month after doctors discovered he had developed hydrocephalus. As a result, “Tazmexican Devil” was forced to withdraw from his bout with Brandon Moreno at UFC Chile last weekend.

Borg, who may be experiencing the worst year of his life, spoke about the good news via Twitter (shown above).

“I want to start off by saying thank you to everybody who showed their love and support over these last five weeks, they’ve definitely been tough,” said Borg. “But today, we get to go home.”

This may not have been on everyone’s radar with everything going on in the world today, but baby Borg’s coming home party has to put a smile on your face.

Assuming everything goes well form this point on we should expect to see Borg back inside the Octagon by the end of the year. The 24-year-old is coming off a fifth-round submission loss to UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson back in October.
