Enough of Holly Holm already

As a Chicago native, I couldn't be more pleased with the fact that UFC 225 is one of the most stacked cards in years. However, I just read that Overeem v. Blaydes, an extremely title-relevant heavyweight matchup just got bumped to the prelims. Why? Because it was replaced with Holly Holm v . Megan Anderson. Curtis Blaydes is an extremely talented young man with great wrestling and heavy hands, who could potentially fight for the title by next year. Allistair Overeem is an MMA God with belts in numerous combat sport leagues, and arguably one of the best strikers to ever grace the octagon. Yet, these two sluggers get bumped for Holly freaking Holm? I don't understand the appeal of this girl. Granted, she may be a nice person, I have nothing against her personally. But she's lost her last three out of five (with one draw) and her only win over Bethe Correia, who has one win in the last four years and is far from an impressive fighter. Enough with Holly Holm already, we get it - she headkicked Ronda Rousey...years ago. These Greg Jackson fighters used to be great three to four years ago, but they've been losing a ton since and we need them to start shuffling towards the bottom of fight cards. Donald Cerrone, Carlos Condit, Andre Arlovski, John Dodson, Diego Sanchez, Holly Holm: in their last 30 fights, combine for only 11 wins (versus 19 losses). With the exception of Jon Jones, who has his own PED issues, this is no longer an elite camp by any stretch of the imagination. No more Holly Holm on PPV main cards, especially if that means we're bumping HOFers like Overeem to prelims. That is all.
