The WBC light heavyweight title fight between Adonis Stevenson and Badou Jack in Toronto on Saturday night ended in an unsatisfying majority draw, but at least we got this funny highlight out of it. Halfway through the twelfth round, the referee stepped in to break a clinch and ate a punch from Jack straight to the jaw. Watch it here:

An apologetic Badou Jack held out his gloves in contrition but the ref didn’t waste a moment, signalling both men to get back to fighting.
Afterwards, judges would score the fight 114-114, 114-114, and 115-113 Jack, making this his second majority draw in his past three fights. As a result, Adonis Stevenson retains his WBC belt.
This isn’t the first time Badou Jack has unleashed his left hook on a referee. Back in January of 2017 he caught referee Arthur McKinney with a similar shot during his fight with James DeGale:
Well done to last night’s ref for handling that shot to the chin better than McKinney!
