Combate Americas ‘Mexico vs El Mundo’ set for May 18 in Tijuana on UDN

I guess Mexico wasn’t satisfied with simply challenging the United States next week in Sacramento and has now decided to take on the entire world.

Based on what I saw at Copa Combate, I wouldn’t bet against them.

Combate Americas: “Mexico vs. El Mundo” is now official for Fri., May 18, 2018, inside Auditorio Municipal Tijuana in Tijuana, Mexico, featuring the top fighters in Mexico as they tangle with rivals from the U.S., Spain, Brazil, and Chile, just to name a few.

That includes the featherweight main event, pitting striking sensation and local hero Marco Antonio “La Roca” Elpidio (Mexico) opposite 145-pound smashing machine Andres “The Bullet” Quintana (USA).

Combate Americas: “Mexico vs. El Mundo” main card will air live on Univision Deportes Network (UDN) beginning at 12 a.m. ET/9 p.m. PT, with the complete preliminary bout card streaming live on UnivisionDeportes.com at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

In the lightweight co-headliner, the venerable Rodrigo “Kazula” Vargas (Mexico) looks for his second straight win inside “La Jaula” when he collides with UFC import Mike “El Cucuy” De La Torre (USA).
