The quick finishes kept piling in earlier tonight (Sat., May 19, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 129 from inside Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, as Poliana Botelho followed Gabriel Benitez’s 39-second knockout slam with a 33-second finish of women’s strawweight Syuri Kondo, which officially goes down as the fastest stoppage in division history.
It didn’t take Botelho long to hurt Kondo on the feet with a blistering liver kick. The Japanese professional wrestler backed up into the cage in pain as Botelho moved in for a few hard punches that finally forced the referee to step in for the impressive first-round TKO stoppage.

With this performance, Botelho improves her UFC record to 2-0 and locks down her sixth career knockout finish. Despite belonging to a competitive 115-pound division, the Brazilian is quickly beginning to shows signs of her top 10 potential.
