Before every major fight card, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will release a full fight video for each headlining combatant, reminding fans what’s in store and how each fighter earned a spot in the main event.
The latest offering comes ahead of this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 129 event on FOX Sports 1, held inside Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, and highlights the grappling prowess of longtime 170-pound contender Demian Maia.
The role of victim will be played by “Immortal” slugger Matt Brown in a video that will undoubtedly make its way into the fight camp of Kamaru Usman, the once-beaten welterweight who captured 11 straight before tangling with the Brazilian.
Maia (25-8) has 12 submission wins throughout his career, not including his reign of terror on the grappling circuit. His goal is to snap a two-fight losing streak and send “The Nigerian Nightmare” (12-1) to the back of the line.
