Highlights! Watch Vasyl Lomachenko stop Jorge Linares with a liver shot on ESPN

Arguably the best pound-for-pound boxer continued his dominance earlier tonight (Sat., May 12, 2018) live on ESPN from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, N.Y., as Ukrainian sensation Vasyl Lomachenko (11-1) put a stop to Jorge Linares (44-4) via 10th-round TKO.

As a result, “Matrix” walks away with the WBA (Super) and The Ring lightweight titles, in addition to the WBO junior lightweight belt that he already owned. That means he has won three different world titles in just 12 fights. Simply sensational.

While “Matrix” was able to put a stop to the bigger Linares, he was knocked down in this fight, jolting some energy into those crazy enough to bet against him. But Lomachenko recovered and really poured it on in the Round 10. He hit Linares with a nasty combination inside before digging into the body for the fight-ending liver shot.

With this performance, Lomachenko extends his current win streak to 10, which includes eight finishes. The 30-year-old superstar is already considered one of the best boxers in the entire world, so it’s going to be bananas to see what “Matrix” can do from here.
