Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC 223 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last Saturday evening (April 7, 2018) inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
And between Tony Ferguson’s injury, Conor McGregor’s bus attack, and Max Holloway’s medical ineligibility, it’s a fucking miracle we crossed the finish line with a championship main event.
UFC 223 crowned a new lightweight kingpin when Khabib Nurmagomedov ran through Al Iaquinta in the five-round main event. In the UFC 223 co-headliner, Rose Namajunas retained her 115-pound crown against ex-champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
