Ronda Rousey made her full wrestling match debut at WrestleMania 34 and there’s no other way to describe it than an amazing success. Rousey was teamed up with fellow Olympic athlete Kurt Angle to take on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, and the four battled it out until Rousey locked up an armbar on McMahon, forcing a tap and winning the match.
Rousey looked great. She sold her attacks and her bumps well, carrying her weight amongst the more experienced legends in Angle and Triple H. While a few transitions and throws looked like they may have been a bit off, it was an impressive performance from a relative newcomer to pro wrestling.
Take a look at some of the action:

At this point there’s no doubt the former UFC women’s champion can hang in the WWE. While we’d rather be watching her lock in armbars in mixed martial arts, we’ll take this as an acceptable alternative ... especially since Rousey obviously loves her new job.
One last thing: as he promised, Dana White made the trip from New York to New Orleans to catch Rousey’s debut. Considering the amount of crap that went down in the UFC this week, that’s friendship!
