Despite there being a lot of decisions, we doubt few people will be unhappy with the fights we witnessed last night (Sat., April 7, 2018) at UFC 223 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Still, there were few surprises when Dana White revealed the names of the fighters that would receive $50,000 bonus checks from the promotion.

Fight of the Night: Zabit Magomedsharipov vs. Kyle Bochniak
Performance of the Night: Olivier Aubin-Mercier
Performance of the Night: Chris Gruetzemacher
Aubin-Mercier earned the first knockout of his career over Evan Dunham to earn his first Performance of the Night bonus since 2014. Meanwhile, Chris Gruetzemacher is getting his first taste of sweet sweet bonus money in his fourth fight with the promotion. Gruetzemacher survived some early trouble in his fight against Joe Lauzon and ended up beating on the veteran fighter so hard Lauzon’s corner threw in the towl after round two.
As for Zabit Magomedsharipov and Kyle Bochniak, they left it all out in the cage, engaging in a fifteen minute knock down drag out war that finished with Bochniak walking Magomedsharipov into the cage and just swinging for the final minute of the fight.
What a fucking fight! @KoreanZombieMMA, Zabit is your next muse. #UFC223 pic.twitter.com/lgtR6gp5jG
