Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently revealed plans to make its mixed martial arts (MMA) debut in Liverpool, England, headlined by none other than local hero and undefeated welterweight up-and-comer Darren Till.
Opposing him is former division title contender Stephen Thompson, who heads across the pond for their UFC Fight Night 130 headliner inside Echo Arena on May 27, 2018. The card will air on FOX Sports 1 with “Prelims” on UFC Fight Pass.

Till (16-0-1) scored his biggest win to date by turning away longtime veteran Donald Cerrone last October in Poland. The recovering Thompson (14-2-1), meanwhile, has been arguing with this fellow contender about who deserves the next crack at Tyron Woodley’s crown.
It might be one of these two.
