Knockout! Watch David Branch smoke Thiago Santos early at UFC Atlantic City

Former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) champion David Branch rebounded from his knockout loss to Luke Rockhold in devastating fashion earlier tonight (Sat., April 21, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 128 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, when he put a stop to streaking Brazilian middleweight Thiago Santos via first-round knockout.

While Branch had to eat a few crippling leg kicks early in this fight, he kept his composure, stayed the course, and waited for his time to pounce. During an exchange along the cage, Branch leveled Santos with a sensational right hook that sent the Brazilian crashing to the canvas. Branch jumped on top for a few hammer fists before the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Branch gets back into the win column and locks down the biggest victory of his UFC career. Even at 36 years of age, Branch remains one of the top 185-pound fighters in the world. If he can continue to pair his strong grappling game with ferocious, and patient, knockout power, he could land some big time fights moving forward.
