Dan Hooker kept things rolling at lightweight earlier tonight (Sat., April 21, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 128 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, when he put a brutal stop to divisional veteran Jim Miller via first-round knockout.
The bigger Hooker controlled most of the early action. Despite Miller trying to fight through a three-fight losing streak, the New Jersey native couldn’t do much against the younger “Hangman.” During an exchange along the cage, Hooker blasted Miller with a perfectly-timed knee down the pipe that instantly sent the veteran flying back into the fence. One final punch landed for Hooker before the referee peeled him off for the knockout stoppage.

With this performance, Hooker extends his current lightweight win streak to three, having finished Miller, Marc Diakiese, and Ross Pearson since his divisional return last year. The 28-year-old has never looked better and has done enough over his last few appearances to earn him a shot at a top 15 opponent his next time out.
