Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight Magomed Bibulatov has re-aggravated a back injury and will no longer be competing at UFC Fight Night 128 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1 this Saturday (April 21, 2018), held inside Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
That explains his no-show at the weigh ins, according to Ariel Helwani.
I know you’re all devastated by the news, but I urge you to dig deep and find the resolve to soldier on in spite of our collective disappointment. The real victim here is Ulka Sasaki, who is unlikely to find a new opponent the day before the event.
My tomorrow’s fight got cancelled because my opponent was declared as “medically unfit” to fight by the athletic commission. I feel bad for the fans that are looking forward to see my fight. I am going to switch my mode and will concentrate on my next fight. So please keep on supporting me! #UFC #nyc #flyweight #april #21
The new bout order is expected shortly.
