I guess it’s hard to learn from your mistakes when you have $8 million in the bank.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, has resumed his Twitter war with ex-lightweight contender Tyson Griffin, which started way back in 2014 when “Bones” was clowning longtime rival Daniel Cormier.

Things eventually cooled down, until Griffin found it necessary to include Jones in a tweet about irresponsible champions, referring to the media day meltdown by Conor McGregor that tattered the UFC 223 line up and left a couple of fighters injured.
Not surprisingly, Jones fired back at the “bitter bitch.”
That prompted Griffin to leak more of their conversation, where “Bones” revealed his net worth. Keep in mind, this was back in 2014, so there’s a very strong chance these numbers have shifted in either direction (this out-of-court settlement certainly didn’t help).
2 years ago I kept this private because I almost felt bad for @JonnyBones but now I’ll just let you all judge for yourselves. pic.twitter.com/s4eZfv8M25

“Thanks for the hate aka love, we are all one my brother,” Griffin wrote on Twitter. “Just keep trying to be a better role model and focus on being a ‘Great Champion.’ No one is perfect but winning and money isn’t everything. You have taught me that.”
What’s the moral of the story? Net worth = self worth.
