Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender, Gunnar Nelson, does not have a mixed martial arts (MMA) fight lined up at the moment, so he has plenty of time to hang around with his buddies and cover Michael Jackson tunes.
Like the eighties classic, “Beat It.”
And “Gunni” doesn’t just stand up and perform. He, along with his Mjolnir squad, get all dressed up like they did in Jackson’s music video and reenact the whole damn thing. I’m not sure why, but I guess it doesn’t matter.
Speaking of things that got beat, Nelson was turned away by Santiago Ponzinibbio last July in the UFC Fight Night 113 main event, putting an end to his two-fight win streak. That left him at No. 13 in the official rankings (see them here).
Hopefully this video (and my questionable decision to post it) doesn’t start something like the #MichaelJacksonChallenge and another round of videos like these.
