After tying a ribbon around its UFC 222 pay-per-view (PPV) offering last Saturday night (March 3, 2018) in Las Vegas, Nevada, the world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organization is taking a week off before turning right back around for another event.
UFC Fight Night 127 is set to go down on March 17 inside O2 Arena in London, England and will feature a heavyweight showdown between former division champion Fabricio Werdum taking on the always-dangerous Alexander Volkov. “Vai Cavalo” will look to collect his third straight win in an attempt to secure his much-desired shot at the belt.
Volkov, meanwhile, looks to put an end to that quest as he aims to win his sixth straight fight inside the Octagon in hopes of making his own championship moves. In the co-main event of the evening, Light Heavyweight standout Jimi Manuwa will rematch Jan Błachowicz after scoring a unanimous decision win over the power-punching Pole back in 2015.
