Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced its latest “Fight Night” mixed martial arts (MMA) event for Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, on Sun., July 22, 2018, on FOX Sports 1.
While a main event has yet to be established, local fighters Jarjis Danho, Jessin Avari, and Peter Sobotta are likely to be in action. Tickets for UFC Hamburg go on sale on April 27 and this will mark the promotion’s second trip to Hamburg after UFC Fight Night 93 in Sept. 2016.
“Our German fans have proven, time and time again, that MMA is a sport they love,” UFC Senior Vice President International and Content David Shaw said in today’s press release. “After such a successful event in 2016, we look forward to revisiting a city that welcomed us, and our athletes, in 2016 and we intend to deliver an even bigger and better event for the fans on July 22.”
