Everybody hates Paige VanZant’s fiance

It ain’t easy being Mr. Paige VanZant.

Back at the end of January, the UFC’s favorite up and coming prospect announced that she was engaged to be married to fellow MMA fighter Austin “Jerkface” Vanderford. The internet reacted quickly and decisively with a verdict of “No likey,” but for some reason that hasn’t stopped her from going ahead with her plans to marry at the ripe old age of 23.

And it’s not like she didn’t note our disapproval. Our burning, eternal disapproval. She even mentioned the strong reaction during her trip to UFC London last week.

”I would say definitely ... my poor fiance, everyone hates him a tiny bit,” she told MMANYTT during a media scrum. “But he’s an awesome fighter, I can’t wait for him to make his run in the UFC. It’s going to come very soon. He’s a national level champion wrestler so I’m excited to see his future and I think he’ll get some more fans once they get to see him perform.”

But before we get to see him perform in the Octagon, we’ll just have to get a bit closer via the view we get from Paige’s social media accounts ... which of course are tinted with gooey love goggles for her beau.
