Don’t look now but Ronda Rousey seems to be getting comfortable inside of the wrestling ring.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) superstar is gearing up for a highly-anticipated debut at WrestleMania 34 on April 8 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Remember, Rousey signed on with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) earlier this year , declaring her move to professional wrestling her “first priority” for the next “several years.”
In preparation for WrestleMania 34, Rousey is deep into training. The former Olympic medalist and UFC champion is one of the best female athletes in the world and should make a smooth transition over to the wrestling game. If you’re one of those combat fans who doubted whether or not “Rowdy” could perform physically in WWE, check out her recent training session above courtesy of WWE.
While the video clip is very short, Rousey seems to already have her timing down inside of the ring and looked explosive in her slam. I’m sure Rousey is doing more behind closed doors, but this is a nice little snippet to get wrestling fans, along with mixed martial arts (MMA) fans, excited about her debut in just two weeks.
Rousey will be partnering with former Olympian and former WWE champion Kurt Angle in a tag-team match against WWE personalities and head honchos Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
