Yes, ‘Khabib Time’ is a real thing and here’s the UFC 223 video to prove it

Remember when we were all supposed to chant along with “Whose house? Run’s house! ... this is kind of the same thing, only when someone asks you what time it is, you get in their face and scream KHABIB TIME!

Preferably in a Caucasus accent.

I’m assuming Khabib Nurmagomedov means it’s time for him to get a title shot and win gold, which he can accomplish by turning away interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson in the UFC 223 pay-per-view (PPV) main event next month in Brooklyn, New York.

More on that showdown here.

He probably would have earned one a long time ago if he wasn’t prone to withdrawing from fights (like this one) at the last minute, so as far as the “time” it has taken him, the 25-0 “Eagle” has no one to blame but himself.

But it was enough to make promotion president Dana White wait until the cage door closes to order this.

Speaking of time, is it September yet?
