Submission! Watch Danny Henry upset Hakeem Dawodu in 39 seconds at UFC London

The upset finishes kept piling in earlier today (Sat., Mar. 17, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 127 live on Fight Pass from inside The O2 Arena in London, England, as Scottish lightweight prospect Danny Henry pulled off a huge 39-second guillotine finish over highly-touted kickboxing knockout artist Hakeem Dawodu.

Evident by the stoppage time, this preliminary clash didn’t last all that long. Henry caught Dawodu with a right hand early and hurt him. “Hatchet” was then able to rush in and quickly grab a hold of the Canadian’s neck, eventually dropping down to the canvas and squeezing for the submission finish.

With this performance, Henry improves his UFC record to 2-0 after winning a decision over Daniel Teymur in his debut back in July. While “Hatchet” has a long way to go to further stick out in a crammed 155-pound division, this victory proves that the Scottish prospect is capable of knocking off some serious talent.
