Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is headed back to “The Garden State” for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 128 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, booked for Boardwalk Hall Arena on Sat., April 21, 2018 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Unfortunately, it will do so without the services of Brazilian bruiser Paulo Costa.

That’s because “Borrachinha” (11-0) injured his bicep and will not be able to compete, putting the kibosh on his middleweight showdown opposite striking sensation Uriah Hall. No word yet on whether or not “Prime Time” will remain atop the FOX Sports 1 fight card.

“This is not good news for my fans,” Costa wrote on Instagram. “I had a serious injury, partial breaking of bicipes ligament. I know that you are excited to see me again and I am too , but i need some more time to return to show all my potential to you in the cage, soon you will see me again. Probably in June.”

Bummer.

UFC Fight Night 128 will be headlined by the lightweight scrap between Edson Barboza and Kevin Lee (watch them face off here). Elsewhere on the card, Patrick Cummins will face Corey Anderson, while Leslie Smith challenges Aspen Ladd. Also, David Branch returns to action against Thiago Santos.
