Kevin Lee vs Edson Barboza staredown video ahead of UFC Atlantic City

NBA: Indiana Pacers at Philadelphia 76ers Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) interim title challenger Kevin Lee and Brazilian striking sensation Edson Barboza will headline the upcoming UFC Fight Night 128 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on April 21, 2018, live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

To help get East Coast fight fans pumped for their “Garden State” showdown, both Lee and Barboza were on hand for the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Indiana Pacers basketball game last night (March 13) inside Wells Fargo Center in “The City of Brotherly Love.” The Pacers won by a score of 101-98.

Lee (16-3) has not competed since last fall’s submission loss to Tony Ferguson at UFC 216, one that cost him the interim lightweight title. Prior to that, “Motown Phenom” captured five-straight victories, including finishes over Michael Chiesa, Francisco Trinaldo, and Jake Matthews.

Barboza (19-5) is coming off a one-sided beatdown at the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 219 this past December. Losing to “The Eagle” — who moves on to fight Ferguson at UFC 223 — snapped a three-fight win streak in which the Brazilian turned away former lightweight champions Anthony Pettis and Gilbert Melendez, as well as divisional standout Beneil Dariush.
