Jon Fitch signs with Bellator MMA

Bellator 195 “Caldwell vs. Higo” takes place March 2, 2018 at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma. It’s likely that during that broadcast on Paramount Network that you’ll hear about the latest star to sign with Bellator.

MMA Fighting has revealed that former UFC title contender and former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) champion Jon Fitch (30-7-1, 1 NC) has signed a contract with Bellator. He is on a current four-fight winning streak and will be an immediate contender in Bellator’s crowded Welterweight division.

In his 15+ year professional career Fitch has notched some impressive wins and incredibly long spans of going undefeated. Fitch went from July 19, 2003 to August 8, 2008 without being beaten, earning him a title shot against Georges St-Pierre at UFC 87 — his first loss after such an outstanding run.

Does his future in Bellator MMA including stretching his current streak to such remarkable lengths? Only time will tell.
