Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt, reallllllly wants his 135-pound title back. In fact, “No Love” was willing to give up a chunk of his fight purse to entice TJ Dillashaw to rematch him at UFC 222.

That’s because Frankie Edgar was left high and dry when Max Holloway injured his leg and withdrew from their pay-per-view (PPV) headliner, scheduled for March 3, 2018 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The Answer” wants to remain part of the upcoming festivities, which led to an open casting call on social media:

Graciously accepted by Garbrandt:

I’d watch.

It would be little-to-no weight cut for Garbrandt, who would only bump up 10 pounds. In addition, Edgar is built like a bantamweight, so there wouldn’t be a tremendous disparity in size.

Sure, it doesn’t get either fighter closer to a title shot, but it gets them paid and makes the fans happy. And hey, “fighters fight,” right?
