Knockout! Watch Deiveson Figueiredo flatten Joseph Morales at UFC Belem

Undefeated Brazilian flyweight Deiveson Figueiredo made good on yet another Octagon appearance earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 3, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 125 from inside Arena Guilherme Paraense in Belem, Brazil, when he finished formerly undefeated prospect Joseph Morales via second-round TKO.

Despite a few upkicks off his back, Morales didn’t have much to offer Figueiredo. The Brazilian was quicker to the punch, more powerful inside, and put himself in position to win every scramble. When the two flyweights exchanged leather in Round 2, Figueiredo was able to catch Morales with a nasty left hook. Morales toppled to the canvas and Figueiredo landed a few insurance shots before the referee jumped in.

With this performance, Figueiredo pushes his professional record to 14-0 (3-0 UFC) and locks down his second Octagon finish. If the flashy Brazilian can continue his divisional ascension and prove that he deserves bigger and better competition, he could be a dark horse for title contention entering 2019.
