Welterweight veteran Alan Jouban took full advantage of his speed and power earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 24, 2018) at UFC on FOX 28 from inside Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., when he put an end to fellow 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu fighter Ben Saunders via second-round knockout.
Saunders didn’t make things easy for Jouban as he repeatedly used his reach to land hard right hands on “Brahma.” Jouban did a good job circling away from danger and peppering “Killa B” with crippling leg kicks. From there, after Saunders was wobbled and slow on his feet, Jouban moved in for the kill and found a home for a beautiful left hand off an exchange.

With this performance, Jouban gets right back into the win column at 170 pounds after getting stopped by prospect Niko Price back in August. The 36-year-old remains a dangerous entity in a growing welterweight class, but has to accomplish a little more consistency if he wants to test the top 15 moving forward.
