If Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight titleholder Conor McGregor wants to make his mixed martial arts (MMA) return, there’s probably no better place to do it than his backyard of Dublin, Ireland, where the promotion is headed on May 27, 2018, according to a report from MMA Fighting.
Though a McGregor comeback might be better suited here, as promised.
UFC has already hosted three previous events inside 3Arena, which holds upwards of 13,000 fans, including UFC Fight Night 46, where McGregor trashed The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 featherweight winner Diego Brandao.
And White would never lie to us.
Until we get something concrete, the 155-pouns strap will be up for grabs at UFC 223, where Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov collide for the “real” title. As for McGregor, he can always make this “special.”
