UFC vet Brendan Schaub hits Showtime ‘Below the Belt’ on Feb. 28

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight contender Brendan Schaub continues to build his brand outside of the Octagon, recently inking a new talk show titled “Below the Belt” on Showtime sports digital platforms.

Airing twice a month at 30 minutes in length, the sports talk show will premiere Weds., Feb. 28, ahead of the network’s Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz WBC title fight, before returning on March 14, March 28, April 11, April 18, May 2, and May 16.

“Brendan brings an edge that resonates with today’s fight fans,” said Stephen Espinoza, President, Sports and Event Programming, Showtime Networks Inc.. “He has a fresh voice that is equal parts knowledgeable, funny and opinionated.”

“Below the Belt” will feature such recognizable names as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Paulie Malignaggi, and Joe Rogan, just to name a few, and also includes a weekly podcast as well as composite programming on Showtime Extreme.
