Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight-turned-World Series of Fighting (WSOF) champion Rousimar Palhares will make his return to mixed martial arts (MMA) on March 30, 2018 inside VTB Ice Palace in Moscow, Russia.

That’s where “Toquinho” (19-8-1) will face undefeated local product Aliaskhab Khizriev (9-0) on the Fight Nights Global 85 main card, which also features championship title bouts between Alexander Matmuratov and Movlid Khaibulaev (featherweight), as well as Abdulsupyan Alikhanov and Roman Kopylov (middleweight).

Palhares, 38, was cur from UFC back in 2013 for being dirty AF, a trait he carried over to WSOF. His most recent stateside transgression got him stripped of the title and banned from competition, forcing the embattled Brazilian to seek employment overseas.

Fortunately for Palhares, there are promoters who are just as wacky as he is.

Seems like just yesterday our little Rousimar was cranking limbs at Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC). Sniff ... they go nuts so fast.
