Jeremy Stephens one-punch knockout of Marcus Davis at UFC 125 gets ‘KO of the Week’

New, comments

Jeremy Stephens looks to collect his third straight win as he headlines his second straight event in just two months alongside Josh Emmett this Saturday night (Feb. 24, 2018) from inside Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Jeremy has always been known as a power-hitter, and you have to look no further than his knockout wins over Rafael dos Anjos and Dennis Bermudez for proof. But one of his most memorable highlight reel moments came back at UFC 125 on Jan. 1, 2011 against Marcus Davis.

After two back-and-forth rounds of action, Stephens clipped Davis with a short uppercut that absolutely stiffened “The Irish Hand Grenade.” To top it off, “Lil Heathen” followed it up with a Dan Henderson-like flying punch to his downed foe for good measure.

Now, Stephens will look to keep his momentum going when he faces off against fellow- power-punching Featherweight Josh Emmett. And as evidenced by this vicious knockout, Emmett packs his own power, which could make for an interesting night at the office.

Take a look at Jeremy’s utter destruction of Davis in UFC’s “KO of the Week.” And to see who else is fighting at UFC on FOX 28: “Emmett vs Stephens” click here.
