Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender, Colby Covington, has been trying to worm his way into a division title shot against Tyron Woodley, but “Tyquil” is expected to be paired off against lightweight import Rafael dos Anjos, according to this guy.
That leaves “Chaos” without a date to the big dance, unless he wants to show up with fellow 170-pound standout Kamaru Usman, who also believes a shot at “The Chosen One” is within reach.
So how does Derek Brunson fit into all of this? The boomerang, of course.
But he put those papers on Werdum https://t.co/1VrnvERkET

Which prompted this:

Usman has previously accused Covington of ducking him in the past.
Working against “The Nigerian Nightmare” is the fact that he’s ranked No. 9 in the division, as opposed to No. 3 for Covington. It also doesn’t help that promotion president Dana White hates 30-percent of his guts.
But until the surgically-repaired Woodley makes up his mind, Usman vs. Covington might be the best match up available.
