UFC Austin free fight video: Watch Cowboy Cerrone lay waste to Jim Miller in Atlantic City

New, comments

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced its return to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and no doubt longtime veteran and “Garden State” resident Jim Miller will be interested in competing on that card.

If for no other reason than to erase the memory of his last trip to A.C., which ended in a violent knockout loss to Donald Cerrone, a battle that may have eliminated Miller from the 155-pound title chase.

Watch it unfold in the embedded video above.

While Miller (28-11, 1 NC) awaits his next assignment, Cerrone — now a welterweight — will headline the upcoming UFC Fight Night 126 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, opposing fan-friendly striker Yancy Medeiros.

Cerrone (32-10, 1 NC) was expected to return to the lightweight division — and reduce his fight frequency — after dropping three straight fights in which he was finished twice. “Cowboy” was last seen getting turned inside out by Darren Till at UFC Gdansk.

Probably got an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Medeiros (15-4, 1 NC), meanwhile, captured three in a row — all finishes — to maintain his place in the official UFC rankings (see them here). “The Kid” is fresh off a third-round stoppage over Alex Oliveira at UFC 218.
