‘Super’ Sage Northcutt swears it up in unique promotional video for UFC ‘Austin’

New, comments

Potty mouth Sage? Potty mouth Sage.

Sage Northcutt

All aboard the Sage train! “Super” Sage Northcutt is returning this weekend at UFC Fight Night: “Cowboy vs. Medeiros,” his second fight since leaving school to concentrate on fighting. That extra time in the gym resulted in a decision win over Michel Quinones at UFC Fight Night 120 in November of 2017, and now we’ll have to see if he can get a streak going against Thibault Gouti in Texas.

As usual, Sage is getting a bit more of a push than your average 4-2 UFC fighter. But how can you blame Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for focusing on some of Sage’s adorable quirks. The kid is one of the most polite people on earth, so of course the promotion has decided to turn that fact on its head and produce a video that presents Northcutt as a big ol’ potty mouth.

Such a potty mouth, that @SuperSageNorthcutt! #UFCAustin

The 21 year-old comes into this home state battle looking to prove he’s worth all the promotional muscle the UFC has put behind him over the past couple of years. UFC is lobbing him as soft of a softball as they can with French fighter Gouti, who is 1-3 in the UFC but coming off a first round KO win from September.

As the name implies, UFC Fight Night: “Cowboy vs. Medeiros” also features Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone vs. Yancy Medeiros in a guaranteed scrap, and a heavyweight showdown between Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis and Marcin Tybura.
