The upcoming UFC 223 pay-per-view (PPV) event — which is set to go down on April 7, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York -- continues to take shape with another interesting addition between Artem Lobov and Alex Caceres.
The upcoming Featherweight showdown was confirmed by MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani.
Both Lobov and Caceres have struggled mightily as of late, with “The Russian Hammer” dropping two in a row at the hands of Cub Swanson and Andre Fili, while “Bruce Leroy” dropped his last bout against Wang Guan, which was his third loss in last four outings.
Indeed, both men need a win in the worst way, so we can expect some fireworks in this 145-pound showdown as both men are keen on keeping the fight standing.
UFC 223 is set to go down inside Barclays Center and will feature a Lightweight title fight between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Meanwhile, the co-main event will see Rose Namajunas defend her women’s Strawweight title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk after dethroning her at UFC 217 last year.
Also Paul Felder and Al Iaquinta will collide in lightweight action, while Felice Herrig and Karolina Kowalkiewicz do the dance at 115 pounds.
