Max Holloway made it look easy last night (Sat., Dec. 8, 2018) at UFC 231 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, when he finished formerly undefeated Brian Ortega via fourth-round TKO (doctor’s stoppage) to retain his undisputed featherweight title.
In addition to the main event, former middleweight contender Thiago Santos continued his destruction of the light heavyweight division when he flattened Jimi Manuwa with one punch, Gunnar Nelson got back into the welterweight win column with a disgustingly bloody submission finish over Brazilian veteran Alex Oliveira, and Dhiego Lima landed a memorable one-punch walk off finish over Canadian lightweight Chad Laprise on the “Prelims.”
