Rising light heavyweight prospect Aleksandar Rakic continued his dominant ways earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 8, 2018) at UFC 231 from inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, when he put a finish to Devin Clark via first-round TKO (punches).
While Clark landed a few good left hands early in this fight it was Rakic who did the most damage, especially with his whipping leg kicks. During an exchange towards the end of the first round Rakic landed a beautiful back fist that caught Clark off guard and forced him to the canvas. Rakic followed up with a few heavy punches on the ground before the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Rakic extends his undefeated UFC record to 3-0 and secures his first ever Octagon finish. The 26-year-old has now won 11 in a row dating back to 2012. There’s no telling how Rakic will perform as he moves up the 205-pound ladder in 2019, but he looked extremely dangerous tonight against a guy who trains with Jon Jones on the regular.
