AND STILL! Max Holloway edges out Brian Ortega at UFC 231 in EA Sports UFC simulator (Video)

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will retain his 145-pound belt and push his win streak to an impressive 13 later tonight (Sat., Dec. 8, 2018) at UFC 231 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, when he edges out undefeated contender Brian Ortega via decision.

That’s according to the EA Sports UFC 3 fight simulator (shown above).

Holloway, 27, is making his return to the cage after pulling out of his previously scheduled bout with Ortega back at UFC 226 this past July due to concussion-like symptoms. “Blessed” has won 12 in a row dating back to his loss to Conor McGregor in 2013. That streak includes finishes over Jose Aldo, Cub Swanson, Anthony Pettis, Charles Oliveira, and Andre Fili.

Will life imitate art? We’ll find out later tonight in Toronto.

MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 231 fight card, starting with the Fight Pass “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET, then the remaining undercard balance on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, before the PPV main card start time at 10 p.m. ET.
