Uriah Hall may have waited much longer than expected to land a decisive blow earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 29, 2018) at UFC 232 from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., but “Prime Time” still found a way to finish rising middleweight prospect Bevon Lewis via third-round knockout.
Lewis was the more energetic and active fighter from the opening bell. He hurt Hall early and forced him to fight on the defensive for the majority of the fight. That seemed to play directly into Hall’s abilities as the veteran contender landed a brutal right hand counter in the third round that slumped Lewis and forced the referee to step in.

With this performance, Hall gets back into the win column after getting flattened by Paulo Costa back at UFC 226 this past July. “Prime Time” always seems to fight at his best when he’s backed into a corner and trying to claw his back, but that is an extremely dangerous way to fight. Luckily for Hall, it worked out tonight and kept him afloat at 185 pounds.
