Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the pay-per-view (PPV) market this Saturday night (Dec. 29, 2018) with UFC 232: “Jones vs Gustafsson 2,” which takes place inside The Forum in Inglewood, California after the event was relocated after this mess happened.
Though it didn’t affect ticket sales.
The event will see Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson square off once more, this time for the vacant Light Heavyweight championship. Despite the extra travel for both men — as well as the rest of the card — the combatants seem to be in good spirits, pumped and ready to put on a show for all of the lucky Californians who had one of the most-anticipated title fights ever fall into their laps.
In the co-main event, Cris Cyborg will defend her Featherweight title against current Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in a women’s super fight that could see the first-ever female “champ champ” should “Lioness” prove victorious.

On Episode 4 of UFC 232 Embedded, bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes spends Christmas Eve in the gym alongside fiancee Nina Ansaroff and fellow UFC 232 athlete Michael Chiesa. Former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones follows suit in Albuquerque, then heads to Las Vegas with welterweight Carlos Condit. Light heavyweight headliner Alexander Gustafsson checks in to the Las Vegas hotel along with other fighters, as the athletes ready for an unusual two-city fight week.
