It’s the fight we never knew we needed to get done.
But alas, here we are, and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s featherweight champion, Cristiane Justino, will welcome current women’s 135-pound titleholder, Amanda Nunes, to the UFC 232 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event on Sat. night (Dec. 29, 2018) inside The Forum in Inglewood, California.
It’s not like “Cyborg” had much of a choice, since the featherweight division is so small it doesn’t even have a spot in the promotion's official rankings. And “Lioness” doesn’t have many challengers at the lower weight after turning away Valentina Shevchenko.
According to the EA Sports UFC 3 simulator, Nunes will not be able to overcome the size and power disadvantage, paving the way for yet another Justino knockout. The good news is, at least for fight fans, is we only need to wait two more days to find out.
