It wouldn’t be a Jon Jones-type fight weekend if there wasn’t major drama to distract the mixed martial arts (MMA) masses once again from an otherwise sensational year-end pay-per-view (PPV) event.
Nevertheless, the show, UFC 232 — at least for now — must go on this weekend (Sat., Dec. 29, 2018) inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., because “Bones” did nothing wrong in the build up to his rematch with Alexander Gustafsson. And Dana White and his ragged band of face-punching gypsies have finally settled in the “Golden State” and will today to tell you why you shouldn’t be mad and the many reason(s) you should cough up $60 four days after Christmas to support this charade.
Jones and Gustafsson — who will lock horns for the vacant Light Heavyweight title in UFC 232’s main event — will today join White, as well as women’s Featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg, and her 135-pound counterpart, Amanda Nunes, inside the Los Angeles Airport Marriott (Marquis Ballroom), for the final pre-fight press conference.
The UFC 232 press conference stream is schedule to go live in the video player above at 5 p.m. ET.
Buckle up! And get ready to watch some grown men squirm.
