Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market with its UFC 231 mixed martial arts (MMA) event earlier this month in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, featuring the latest and greatest featherweight title defense from reigning division kingpin, Max Holloway.

Watch him chew up and spit out Brian Ortega right here.

Not only does “Blessed” keep getting better inside the cage, he also continues to improve on his pay-per-view (PPV) numbers, to the tune of 240-300k for UFC 231, according to Dave Meltzer’s subscription-based newsletter (helpfully provided by Jed Goodman on Twitter).

Have a look:

UFC 230, featuring Daniel Cormier vs. Derrick Lewis, did roughly 250k PPV buys.

In the UFC 231 co-headliner, former strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, tired to capture the vacant flyweight throne in a collision with longtime nemesis and ex-bantamweight title contender, Valentina Shevchenko, but came up empty after five rounds of action (video here).
