Remember when Chris Weidman decided to rap battle Aljamain Sterling?
Of course you don’t, because it was the sort of lyrical abomination that anyone with functioning ears would immediately tune out and try to forget in preservation of that day’s lunch. But hey, if you’re feeling brave, go ahead and watch him carve up the microphone right here.
While the “All American” was impressive, at least when grading on the “tattooed white guy with an acoustic guitar” scale, he was recently blown away by UFC bantamweight Brian Kelleher, 32, who laid down some bantamweight tracks on his official Twitter account.
Watch him serve your ass right here:

If the “Cash Me Outside, How ‘Bout Dat” girl can take over the world of hip hop, then Kelleher is the next Bubba Sparxxx Eminem. Then again, the jury is still out until “Boom” gets the seal of approval from MMAmania.com correspondent, Steve Juon, who inexplicably wrote the lyrics to every rap song ever recorded.
When he’s not spitting rhymes, Kelleher (19-9) is training for the upcoming UFC 232 pay-per-view (PPV) event, where he meets Montel Jackson on the Fight Pass “Prelims” a week from Sat. night (Dec. 29, 2018) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And if he doesn’t answer Joe Rogan’s post-fight questions in rap form, we riot.
