UFC 231 ‘Fight Motion’ video: Watch Max Holloway rat-tat-tat Brian Ortega in super-slow motion

If you thought Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion, Max Holloway, was impressive in his Octagon return last Sat. night (Dec. 8, 2018) inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, then you should see what the “Blessed” champion looks like in super-slow motion.

Fortunately you can, as the promotion recently released clips from the UFC 231 pay-per-view (PPV) event, featuring some of the top action from last weekend’s mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza, including the flyweight championship co-headliner between Valentina Shevchenko and Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

“Bullet” won by five-round unanimous decision (highlights).

Credit to Brian Ortega, who can be seen above taking way more abuse than any fighter should, which is why the cageside doctor stopped the bout before “T-City” answered the bell in the fifth and final frame (read his reaction here). While I’m sure the award for biggest heart is of little consolation to the Mexican gladiator, who left Toronto empty handed, he now has 50,000 reasons to feel better about his performance.
