TUF 28 Finale results: Juan Espino steamrolls, armbars Justin Frazier in one

TUF season 28 finalists Juan Espino and Justin Frazier squared off in the tournament finals tonight (Friday, November 30, 2018) from inside the Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, live and free on Fox Sports 1.

Espino instantly slammed Frazier onto the mat. Frazier tried to get his base but Espino dragged him back down. Frazier was against the cage, but conceding the position but just getting mauled as Espino began to drop bombs from the ride. He used one arm to pin Frazier’s far arm and punched with his free hand until he took Frazier’s back. Justin Frazier toughed through a choke attempt, but wasn’t looking happy. He managed to break away to his feet, and Espino charged in and pinned him to the cage. Espino landed a couple striked and ran Frazier halfway across the cage with a knee pick until Frazier fell down. He looked for a keylock from side control, and Juan Espino got the tap! It was a straight armbar that eventually did the job. Great submission win for Espino to become the TUF 28 heavyweight winner.

He thanked everyone after his win, saying the victory is a present for his mom. He said
