After all was said and done at the UFC 230 pay-per-view (PPV) event -- which went down on Sat., Nov. 3, 2018 inside Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y. -- there was plenty of “Thrill and Agony” to go around.
Sharing in the joy was Daniel Cormier, who made history by defending his Heavyweight title against Derrick Lewis via second-round submission in the main event of the evening (see it again here). Also, Ronaldo Souza was on cloud nine after scoring a knockout win over former Middleweight champion Chris Weidman (highlights), inching him closer to his first-ever UFC title shot.
Of course, the other side of the coin shows the agony after defeat, including “Black Beast” and “All American,” who will have to start from scratch after coming up short in his first-ever title bid. And it’s an absolute heart-wrenching scene seeing Weidman asking the doctors if he lost.
