Believe it or not, it’s been a whole five months since the usually-active Donald Cerrone last fought inside the Octagon, coming up short against Leon Edwards this past summer (see it), giving him his fourth loss in his last five outings.
“Cowboy” will get back on the horse this Saturday night (Nov. 10, 2018) when he faces Mike Perry in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 139, which is set to go down inside Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The fight earned an extra layer of intrigue after Cerrone left his longtime gym — Jackson-Wink MMA — due to “Platinum’s” arrival at the famed camp.
Now, Cerrone will look to not only get back in the win column, but get one over on his former training staff and teammates.
Before that happens, let’s take a look back to see one of “Cowboy’s” most dominant finishes, knocking out Rick Story at UFC 202 back in 2016 with a remarkable combination fit for a video game. The stoppage was good enough to earn Donald UFC’s “Knockout of the Week.”
Can he do the same to Perry in “Mile High City?”
